Southeastern Performance Apparel of Dothan, Alabama, will sponsor the awards for the American Choral Directors Association National Student Conducting Competition. This event takes place at each National Conference of ACDA, with the next event taking place in Chicago in 2011.

In the announcement of this sponsorship Jim Paxton, Vice President of Southeastern Apparel, stated "We are very pleased to have the opportunity to sponsor the ACDA National Student Conducting Awards." The sponsorship includes recognition at the National Conference as well as a cash prize to the winners.

Commenting on this sponsorship, ACDA Executive Director Tim Sharp stated "ACDA appreciates Southeastern Performance Apparel's support of one of ACDA core purposes, which is 'to foster and promote rehearsal procedures conducive to attaining the highest possible level of musicianship and artistic performance'.
